Tile Calculator (Tiles + Waste)
Tile Calculator
Find how many tiles you need for a floor or wall, including a waste allowance for cuts and breakage.
Estimate only. Buy from the same dye lot and keep spares for future repairs. Complex layouts, diagonal sets and small rooms with many cuts need a higher waste allowance.

How many tiles do I need?
Divide your total area (in square feet) by the coverage of one tile, then add 10% for waste (15–20% for diagonal layouts or rooms with many cuts). A 12×12 in tile covers exactly 1 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor needs about 110 tiles with standard waste.
