Best used on interior wood surfaces such as floors, windows, doors, cabinetry, woodwork, tables, furniture, bar tops, and even specialty items like picture frames, fly fishing rods, and gun stocks. It also shines on porous interior substrates like slate, brick, stone, tile, linoleum, or cement to seal and reduce chalking and dusting. For exterior projects, it can be used as a sealer to prime the substrate before a compatible finish is applied.

Application guidance and care

Apply 1–2 coats to seal and prime as needed, followed by 2 coats of a compatible Waterlox finish for the final look. No thinning is required, and drying between coats typically takes at least 24 hours, with longer times in poor ventilation, high humidity, or cooler temperatures.

• Coverage: About 125 square feet per coat per quart; a gallon covers roughly 500 square feet per coat.
• Gloss and appearance: Finishes with a medium sheen (about 75° at application) that may fade to roughly 50–55° over a few months.
