Equipped with a 1/2 inch cutting diameter router bit and a 5/8 inch bearing, the system accommodates hinge lengths from 2-1/2 in to 6 in and door thicknesses from 1-3/8 in to 2-1/2 in. This combination helps you tailor cutouts to common hinge profiles while keeping lines crisp and results consistent.

How to use

1. Lay out hinge locations on the door according to your plan and mark them clearly.
2. Set the template to the target hinge size and choose square or radius corner as needed.
3. Adjust the template for your door thickness by fitting the pin to the correct depth, then lock it in place.
4. Position the template and hinge under the router; align with the depth and route the mortise area.
5. Place the template on the door frame, make a center mark, and nail two alignment holes to secure.
