Overview

This setup uses 1/8 inch black breakaway spacer posts (250 pieces) paired with a rotating cap that sits on a threaded spacer post. Caps and base plates are sold separately, offering flexibility to tailor the system to your project. The result is a consistent edge line and a streamlined installation process without relying on mortar between the spacer and the tile.

How it works

On each exposed edge, place a 1/8 inch spacer post beneath the tile edge. Screw the rotating cap down toward the tile surface. Turn the cap as needed until neighboring tiles align evenly. After the setting material cures, the Spin Doctor assembly can be removed with a light kick or a rubber mallet, leaving a level planar surface.
