How they work

Each bag measures 12 inches wide by 24 inches long and expands to about 3.5 inches tall as it absorbs water. They can absorb up to roughly 4 gallons and reach full size in about 10 minutes when water is present. No sand or heavy labor is required—just place them where water is expected to flow and let the bags do the swelling.
