How to use

First application: use 1/2 cup (4 ounces) per cubic foot of resin. Most residential softeners contain about 1 cubic foot of resin; if unsure, check your manual. Pour the cleaner directly into the brine well; if there is no brine well, add it to the salt tank when salt is low. Manually regenerate the softener. If a taste or odor is detected in tap water, regenerate again and run cold water until the odor subsides.

Regular maintenance: add 1/2 cup (4 ounces) per cubic foot of resin at each regeneration to keep the system clean and ready for the next cycle.
