Skullgard caps meet ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 Type I (top impact) with Class G electrical ratings and are third-party tested and certified by SEI. Date codes are molded into the underside of the brim to indicate manufacturing timing; note that the service life begins when the helmet is placed into service.
