How the system works

Pressing the countertop button sends a quick air signal to the control unit, toggling the disposer on or off without exposing wiring at the sink. The control module stays safely under the counter, helping keep the workspace tidy and reducing splash exposure near electrical parts.

Five easy steps to install

• Step 1: If there is no sink hole, drill a hole of at least 1-1/4 inches in the sink counter or cabinet front to mount the button.
• Step 2: Place the rubber gasket between the push button and the sink top, then tighten the plastic nut to create a watertight seal.
• Step 3: Attach the 3.3 ft air tubing to the control unit and firmly connect it to the molded fittings.
• Step 4: Plug the control unit into a dedicated, grounded 120V AC outlet located below the sink.
• Step 5: Plug the disposer power cord into the control unit and test the button to confirm correct on/off operation.

Note: Pressing the button turns the disposer on; press again to turn it off. A suitable AC power source below the sink is required for operation.
