The CENMING Universal Ceiling Fan Remote Kit provides a convenient, distance-friendly way to control your ceiling fan and its light. Designed to work with most 120V, 3-speed AC ceiling fans, this kit offers a practical upgrade without replacing your entire fixture. It fits many downrod-style fans and is compatible with popular brands such as Harbor Breeze, Hampton Bay, Hunter, and Litex, helping you modernize an existing setup with minimal effort.

What you can control

The FAN-53T remote separates fan speed from light brightness. Use High, Medium, and Low to set the breeze, or Off to stop the fan. The light dimmer adjusts brightness and can turn the light On or Off. Please note the remote does not include a reverse control; if your fan has a reverse switch, it will remain operable on the fan itself.

Performance and durability

The FAN28R receiver is rated at 240W, offering solid capacity to support typical lighting loads alongside the fan motor. This higher power handling can contribute to reliable operation across common fan-light configurations, especially where brighter bulbs are used.

Light compatibility and use notes

The dimmer works with incandescent bulbs and some dimmable LED lights. If you use non-dimmable LEDs or CFL lamps, dimming may cause flicker. For best results, verify your bulbs’ compatibility with dimming before enabling that function.

Installation tips

• Ideal for most downrod-style fans; not recommended for hugger-style models.
• Not designed for wall-mounted fans, exhaust-type fans, or DC motor ceiling fans.
